In Memory

Neil W. CAMPBELL
September 3, 1930 – August 11, 2006

Neil was a great Canadian - honoured by his country and the people he touched with his simple passions. His greatest joys were in the celebration of excellence - something he nourished in all of us, everyday of his life.

Neil was a true Olympian - in rowing and in life. Many of us will forever see Neil, hunkered down in his coach boat, layered against the chill, megaphone in hand. Or smiling broadly, dog whistle around his neck, urging his favourite retriever on with words small children shouldn’t hear. But one thing he taught us all - have nothing left at the end of the race.

In accordance with Neil’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Neil’s life will be held in the Ridley College Chapel on Thursday August 17th, 2006 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Presbyterian World Service & Development for the Ekwendeni Primary School Project in Malawi Africa would be appreciated by his family. Arrangements entrusted to the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (905-684-6346). Memorial Tributes may be left at www.mem.com
